Patient Information

No Referral is necessary to see our practitioners as a private patient and receive private health rebates.

Patients attending under a Worker’s compensation Claim, Medicare Enhanced Primary Care Programme Care Plan, Veteran’s Affairs or motor vehicle accident personal injury claim do require referral from a Doctor.

Our goal is to work with your Doctor to deliver the best health outcomes possible for you. One of these areas of collaboration is that if you are a Private Patient, your Practitioner may refer you to your GP for assessment prior to certain treatment being considered.

Physiotherapy Consultations

Our practices consultations are booked at 20 minute intervals. Initial consultations for new patients, or a new problem, or episode, for existing patients are given a 40 minute allocation.

VIEW OUR FEES

Full assessment, advice and management concerning any one problem takes considerable time. Our policy is therefore to address one problem in one area of the body per session.

In the event that you have more than one problem please advise your Physiotherapist of the existence of the other problems, but specify which is the worst or most urgent of your concerns. In certain circumstances your Physiotherapist may request that you book extended consultation(s) for follow up sessions. These are utilised for complex cases or where more than one problem may need to be addressed concurrently.

Cancellations

Please provide the practice with 24 hours notice of cancellations wherever possible. There are often patients waiting to be contacted and offered earlier appointments for urgent or emergency problems. Your early notification of cancellations is of great benefit to us and our other patients.
